I'm on backorder,when will my item ship?
On certain items, backorder is just a Solar Industry reality. This business is very volatile and is growing fast so stock issues are always a problem. And sometimes we sell out in days! We minimize this with massive purchase orders for popular items but we have found that even doing that is sometimes not enough. Backorder is usually no longer than two weeks but just for information purposes the standard wait time for production of materials in the solar business is 90 days. We calculate this so that customers are never waiting over 30 days so if your order gets beyond that time,give us a call and we will get back to you immediately with a confirmed ship date. Just be advised that if we give you a ship date for materials that are past the 30 day mark, that means that special conditions are present and our supplier is having issues. Regardless, whenever an order is placed you will be notified immediately if the item is on backorder and will be given the choice to either wait or cancel. Cancelling is very easy on Ecrater, we just don't charge your card and cancel through Google Checkout. If paid by Paypal, we immediately refund. However, most wait and for those who do, don't worry, we haven't forgot about your order we are just waiting on the materials!

You don't list a solar item i need. Can you get it?
Yes. We have been in the solar business for over 10 years now so we have access to experimental products from Dow, DuPont and others in the PV field. We don't supply outdated components but if upgrading old panels we can supply new components. Ask and we'll see what we can do! If we can't get it then no one in solar can!

What is your return policy?
All sales from Hughes Solar Energy are 100% guaranteed to be as advertised and all components are absolutely factory new. If you are not satisfied with the item you purchased or our service please contact [email protected] or 1-800-816-0151 to facilitate the return process. The item must be returned within 14 Days in an unused condition and a store credit will be given after receipt of the returned item.

Where is my item?
Call 1-800-816-0151 anytime for order status! Check your spam folder or e-mail filters/junk folder for updates! On all orders, if you used Google Checkout an automated tracking link is sent to you at the time of shipping. If you did not receive this link, call us at 1-800-816-0151 or e-mail us at [email protected] and we will send you the link manually. If there are problems a LIVE PERSON will let you know what the issues are and will talk to you to definitively track down what is delaying your shipment.

When and how do you ship?
Immediately and for smaller component items we use USPS.For solar panels and larger we use UPS or Carrier Freight (Pitt Ohio,e.g.) but the same day we receive confirmation of payment for an item, it ships.(Excluding late Saturdays,Sundays and major holidays.) On Saturdays if we receive payment before 12 Noon, the item will ship same day. Some larger items or systems might be delayed 2-3 days if going carrier freight but that is time needed to schedule with the freight company to pick up the materials.
